Jesus Loves You

We believe that Jesus loves YOU more than you could ever imagine.

Jesus loves you so much that he gave His life for you, and through His resurrection, He offers the hope of heaven. Jesus knows you by name and cares about every part of your life. He lived with kindness, patience, and purpose, and that’s the kind of heart we want to develop together at Camp Perfect.

No one is perfect, and that’s okay! With Jesus’ help, we can learn to share His love, show kindness to others, and grow into the very best version of who God created us to be.

Jesus is Lord

We believe the Bible is God’s word. It tells the true story of His love for everyone and helps us learn how to follow Him.
1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; John 3:16

We believe there is only one God, and He has always existed. God shows Himself to us as the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, three persons who are perfectly united as one.
Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4–6

We believe Jesus is God’s Son. He was born in a miraculous way, lived a perfect life, did amazing miracles, and died on the cross to take away our sins. He came back to life, went to heaven, and one day He will return in power and glory.
Matthew 1:23; John 1:1–4; John 1:29; Acts 1:11; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Philippians 2:5–11

We believe that everyone who follows Jesus should help share the good news that He saves us by grace through faith. God wants the whole world to know His love.
Matthew 28:18–20; Romans 10:9–15; 1 Peter 3:15

We believe we should make prayer a big part of our lives, serve Jesus with our hearts and actions, and let Him guide the way we live every day.
1 Thessalonians 5:17; Matthew 9:35–38; Matthew 22:37–39; Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9–15; Romans 12:20–21; Galatians 6:10; Colossians 2:6–10; 1 Peter 3:15

We believe God created every person as either biological male or biological female, and He made marriage to be between one man and one woman.
Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Mark 10:6–9

We believe every person is precious to God from the very beginning of life to the very end. We should care for the needs of others and show God’s love.
Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37–39; Galatians 6:10

We believe God made all people, and every race and background is loved and valued by Him. We should treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Galatians 3:28; James 2:1; Revelation 7:9 ; Acts 10:34–35

Salvation

We believe that everyone needs Jesus, because without Him we are separated from God. But God loves us so much that He made a way for us to be forgiven and to know Him forever. Jesus is the only way to be saved. When we say we're sorry for our sins and choose to trust and follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit makes our hearts new and gives us eternal life with God in heaven. Baptism is a special way to show others that we belong to Jesus.
Luke 24:46–47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 6:3–7; Acts 2:38–39; Galatians 3:26–28

We believe the Holy Spirit lives inside everyone who follows Jesus. He helps us make good choices, grow in faith, and live in a way that honors God.
John 3:5–8; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:16–18; Colossians 2:6–10

The Golden Rule

Treat other people the way you want them to treat you.
Luke 6:31; Matthew 7:12

Love doesn’t hurt others.
Romans 13:10

Love is patient and kind. It isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag and it doesn’t act rude or selfish. Love doesn’t get angry easily and doesn’t keep track of when someone messes up.
1 Corinthians 13:4–5

Love each other genuinely, and put others first.
Romans 12:10

Don’t just think about what you want, pay attention to what other people need too.
